So a little bit of my background which would add legitimacy to this review. I am a health care professional. Apart from my time in Allopathic medicine, I have been exposed to Holistic medicine in many forms (Ayurvedic, Naturopathic, Accupuncture). Sometimes with holistic medicine one has to be careful because of the lack of standardization across the globe. As with most fields you will find excellent practitioners and sub-par ones.

When I first came to Sam it was based on a recommendation from one of the top PT/Trainers for the NBA, NFL. So I figured she was good. But from the moment one interacted with her to set up the appt, I was amazed by her congeniality and her incredible flexibility to work around my incredible fluid and busy schedule. Upon entering her practice you feel the intimacy of a small business where you are more than another patient. At the same time realizing that she operates at the very highest professional level. The best way to put it is that I felt like a celebrity who hired their own health care practitioner without having to pay the price of a celebrity health care provider.

All that would be a moot point if the results didn't show. Her medical knowledge is incredible and I was beyond impressed. She goes far above and beyond the knowledge base required for an acupuncturist. It quite literally felt like I was getting a Physical Therapist, a Sports medicine specialist and an acupuncture specialist all rolled into one. I think this stems from Sam's desire to keep herself on the cutting edge of treatments, from her own personal passion for sports/Orthopedics and her going above and beyond to educate herself in functional medicine for the whole body.

Her initial session which is an eval was so thorough, I sincerely feel like a lot of my M.D./D.O. colleagues could take a page out of her book in terms of being incredibly thorough, taking time to accurately diagnose and certainly from her amazing bedside manner. She puts you at ease. I feel like this is an integral quality to have, especially if someone is new to acupuncture. After all which one of us looks forwards to getting stuck with a needle, let alone a whole bunch of them Lol.

After taking her time with the Eval she proceeds with the first treatment. And wow, not only were any concerns allayed instantaneously, but incredibly (depending on what you are being treated for), you could potentially feel the relief during and right after the session. That was my first visit almost a year ago. I have been going to Onepoint Acupuncture regularly for the last year. Trust me I would not be going back if I did not see a tangible improvement overall and after each session.

Her pricing is very reasonable. Especially when you consider that she's a health care professional & that she practices in Miami where the cost of living has certainly spiked astronomically. She has packages that you buy which makes it really convenient to just top up your sessions every few months. In addition to which if you grab them at the right time, she runs specials every now and then which could be a reduction in price per session or some added service for free etc.

Lastly, not only does she offer acupuncture. She offers cupping services (the health benefit and pain relief from these sessions cannot be overstated). If you are wondering what cupping is, think of Michael Phelps in the Olympics and how everyone was wondering what the round marks were on his back lol.

I'm running the risk of this becoming a Novel with how much I've written, or a series of Novels (LOTR style). I could keep talking about how amazing she is as a practitioner and how incredible her practice is. But let it suffice for me to say "Go to her and you will not regret it."
